Eigent\u00fcmer\u00a01932:\u00a0Josef Mittel<\/p>\n
Josef Mittel (1888) hat das Anwesen mit der Essigfabrik als Heiratsgut seiner Frau Fanny (1891)\u00a0Liebenthal erhalten.
\nDeren Onkel Hermann hat die Essigfabrik 1897 von Heinemann und Sophie\u00a0Rose f\u00fcr 12000 Mark gekauft, die nach Meiningen verzogen waren.
\nJosef Mittel betrieb das\u00a0Gesch\u00e4ft zusammen mit seinem Bruder Theo, der in der Hauptstra\u00dfe 108 wohnte.
\nZur\u00a0Unterscheidung mit den vielen anderen Mittel\u00ad-Familien wurden diese die Essig\u00ad-Mittel genannt.
\nNeben Essig wurden dort aber auch Branntwein und Lik\u00f6re hergestellt, wie es die Anzeige\u00a0ausweist.
\nNach dem Weggang der Gebr\u00fcder 1939 \u00fcber Havanna in die USA wurde das Gesch\u00e4ft\u00a0von der Fa. H\u00fcgelsch\u00e4fer, Sommerhausen \u00fcbernommen und weitergef\u00fchrt.
\nJosef Mittel hatte mit\u00a0seiner Frau Fanny die Kinder Ruth, K\u00e4te, Edith und G\u00fcnther. Ruth war schon als erste nach Rio\u00a0ausgewandert, K\u00e4the nach Pal\u00e4stina, Edith und G\u00fcnther wanderten 1939 mit den Eltern \u00fcber\u00a0Havanna in die USA aus.
\nEdith bet\u00e4tigte sich als Bildhauerin. Sie erz\u00e4hlte bei einem Treffen, dass\u00a0sie sich in der Pogromnacht auf dem Heuboden verschanzt hatte. Ihr Vater sei von Arbeitern in\u00a0einem leeren Weinfass versteckt worden. Die Rezepturen f\u00fcr die Lik\u00f6re h\u00e4tten ihr Vater und Onkel\u00a0nicht an die Fa. H\u00fcgelsch\u00e4fer weitergegeben.<\/p>\n
